AgriFacture’s Better Shrooms are now available for pickup at AgriFacture’s Operations facility in Flat Rock, North Carolina.
AgriFacture is a family-run indoor vertical farm that grows fresh, organic mushrooms year-round in a highly-controlled environment. The mushrooms are Florida Oysters, and because they are organic and sustainably grown, we call them Better Shrooms. They are also certified with ASAP as an Appalachian Grown local food.
Florida Oysters are a nutritious, versatile, high-quality variety of mushroom. Because of their meaty texture and rich flavor, they also make a great substitute for meat in many dishes – making them a great choice for vegetarians and vegans!

After ordering, it takes about an hour for us to process the order, pick your mushrooms, and box them up for you. You will get an email letting you know when your order is ready. Pickup is at our Operations facility in Flat Rock, NC:

When you arrive, there is a doorbell you can ring, and a member of our team will bring your box to the door. However, if you prefer to do contactless curb-side pickup, just call our number at 828-395-0503 and we will bring your box out to your car!

AgriFacture’s Better Shrooms
AgriFacture’s original Better Shrooms are grown in AgriFacture’s facility in Flat Rock, NC.
AgriFacture utilizes Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), a technology-based approach toward food production that reduces any points of contamination throughout the growing process. The highly-controlled environment provides the mushrooms with the optimum growing conditions to produce the best of products.
AgriFacture’s produce is completely free of chemicals and pesticides, the growth medium is sterilized, the air is filtered, the water is purified to 0ppm, and temperature and lighting are provided for maximum product production. This process results in a better taste – a better product – that far exceeds anything “organic”. That is where the produce gets the name “Better”.
